Ongoing Investigations

ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.

Principal Investigator
Principal Investigator's Name: Lori Daiello
Institution: Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital
Department: Neurology
Country:
Proposed Analysis: I propose to explore the relationships between pharmacotherapy and MRI brain volumes over time in the ADNI cohort
Additional Investigators
Investigator's Name: Brian Ott
Proposed Analysis: The planned primary analysis will examine the association between pharmacotherapy, cognition, and brain volume in the ADNI cohort. Due to various delays, the project was commenced on July 2010. The final datasets are being prepared, IRB approval is being sought, and the analyses should be completed before December 2010.
