ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.

| Proposed Analysis: | We would like to use the ADNI MRI data to validate a brain lesion index (BLI) in construction in the study of AD and aging. We have reported the pilot results at IAGG2009 and received positive feedback. Data from the well-designed ADNI project would help us further develop our research on the BLI, in particular, to improve the generalizability and clinical meaningfulness of the approach. Thank you! |
