ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.

| Proposed Analysis: | Am interested in understanding the type of image biomarkers that can be extracted from the ADNI dataset. Particularly, I would like to look at the different pre-extracted markers that are available for the imaging data. I am interested in applying over novel machine learning methods to see if good classifiers can be learned from these data. I contacted Katherine Gray, who had used some of these for her PhD thesis, and she pointed us here. Our research is IRB Exempt, since we work primarily with deidentified datasets. |
