Ongoing Investigations

ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.

Proposed Analysis: We will use the phenotype data to accomplish the follwing aims as outlined in our DNA request (which has been approved). Aim 1: To attempt to replicate the associations we have observed in our own dataset between CSF Aβ levels and SNPs in LOAD candidate genes, selected because of their direct or indirect role in APP metabolism. Aim 2: To attempt to replicate the associations we have observed between CSF tau levels and MAPT genotypes.
Additional Investigators
