ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.

| Proposed Analysis: | Our project endeavors to implement automated diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease based on the analysis of SPECT and PET brain images. We are planning to use MATLAB for automating analysis. Our analysis method is based on feature extraction, reduction and classification using an SVM (support vector machine ) For our project we are in need of the following set of brain images 1.A set of PET images of both normal people and patients with alzheimer's disease 2.A set of SPECT images of both normal people and patients with alzheimer's disease |
