ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.
| Principal Investigator | |
| Principal Investigator's Name: | Charles Malpas |
| Institution: | The University of Melbourne |
| Department: | Medicine, Royal Melbourne Hospital |
| Country: | |
| Proposed Analysis: | To investigate the volumetric correlates of CSF biomarkers of AD at various stages of the disease. This will primarily involve the multiple regression of biomarker covariates on models of cortical thickness. Cortical thickness ROIs will be extracted to allow more complex hierarchical models to be evaluated, including mediation and SEM analyses across groups (NC, MCI, AD). |
| Additional Investigators | |
| Investigator's Name: | Terence O'Brien |
| Proposed Analysis: | Prof O'Brien is the supervisor of the primary investigator and will oversee all analyses and previously described. |
| Investigator's Name: | Michael Saling |
| Proposed Analysis: | Supervision of Charles Malpas. |
