ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.
|Principal Investigator's Name:||Summer Decker|
|Institution:||University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine|
|Proposed Analysis:||Morphometric Analysis of Neuroanatomical structures as seen in MR as related to metabolic disorders and AD. We will take measurements of key anatomcial structures on MRI images in the ADNI database. Applications to ADNI from other members of our research team have been approved under the names of Dr. Natasa Dragicevic and Dr. Joe Grajo. We have a blanket IRB and determination letter which allows us to examine and measure clinical medical images as long as they are deidentified. Basic demographics are acceptable.|
