ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.

| Proposed Analysis: | My lab works on miRNA in retinal & neurodegenerative diseases. In the past year, we have been funded by the Michael J Fox Foundation to perform miRNA profiling in CSF and putamen tissues of Parkinson's disease patients to identify We would like to diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets. Through this research, we have gained great experience and insight in miRNAs in PD and their potential as diagnostic biomarkers. We seek whether we could participate and add miRNA biomarker study in the ADNI projects. |
