Ongoing Investigations

ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.

Principal Investigator's Name: Howard Dobson
Institution: University of Guelph/CanCog Technologies
Department: Clinical Studies
Country:
Proposed Analysis: I have a university faculty appointment and I am on long term leave of absence with a contract research organization, CanCog Technologies. The company's core business is using the natural occurring dog dementia as a model of MCI/AD in people.I have extensive experience with MRI of these subjects. We are planning to start doing FDG studies in our subjects to expand the model and my reason for requesting access to the data base is to obtain the details of the FDG PET protocol in order to make our dog studies as similar as possible to the ADNI studies in people. Please note that I am a veterinarian with a DVSc degree, which is unique to the University of Guelph and is recognized as a doctoral level degree with a component of clinical training, I inadvertently checked the PhD box above and it would not "un click"
