ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.
|Principal Investigator's Name:||Ahsan Tufail|
|Institution:||Military College of Signals, NUST|
|Proposed Analysis:||Independent component analysis is a multivariate unsupervised learning technique used to identify different features of brain tumors in MRI data. Alongwith state vector machine based classification system, it could help in the identification of neuroimaging biomarkers in Alzheimer's disease. These biomarkers help in the identification and diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease. I want to find the relationship between biomarker and associated substructure of brain which helps in more better understanding of AD.|
