ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.

| Proposed Analysis: | I am an individual researcher with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. I have over 20 year R&D experience in pattern recognition and classification in the area of automatic speech recognition and digital signal processing. I am very interested in researching how powerful pattern recognition and classification techniques that I had the chance to work with can be applied to disease detection and disease progression modeling. I would be very interested to get access to the ADNI data to use it in researching how AD can be predicted early through designing a classifier that combines a number of relevant biomarkers in order to make a reliable prediction.
